How to buy a license
You can buy licenses from our website here.
You will receive an automatic email with your license code and if you have any account on our system your license will automatically be added to your Account Page to manage your license.
If you don’t have an account on our system you can follow a link in your purchase email to create an account.
License types explained
There are two license types: Machine and Distribution:
Machine licenses are node-locked to individual machines and can be used with Unreal Engine Editor, Runtime and Packaged builds.
Distribution licenses let you include our plugin in your game/ app/ project when distributing it to 3rd parties. They only work in Unreal Engine packaged builds.
Neither license type requires internet connection to work.
Machine license use cases
Media production in studios or at home
Using our software on cloud machines for streaming or remote rendering
Installing permanent machines in museums or commercial displays
Live events or performances
Distribution license use cases
Using our software in games/ apps/ projects that you want to share with 3rd parties
(For unlimited distribution licenses) using our software on cloud machines for streaming
Payment processing
For tax compliance, licenses purchased from our website are all sold through a 3rd party payment processor called Paddle.
You will receive a receipt for your purchase from Paddle along with your license code and getting started emails from Off World Live.
If you need a VAT invoice or a charitable tax exemption you should also do this through Paddle because they are the payment processor.
How to create a VAT or sales tax invoice from Paddle
If you need a VAT/ sales tax invoice so you can refund the VAT from your purchase please follow these steps:
Search your email inbox for 'Your Off World Live Receipt' to find an email of that same name:

Open the email to see the details of your purchase. Click on the blue box called
View Receipt:
A webpage will open showing your receipt with an option to input your details. Click
Add address:
A pop-up will appear where you can add your details. If you are a business please tick
This is a business purchase:
Input your required information and your receipt will be updated accordingly. You can now download or print the receipt as an invoice.
How to get charitable exemption from sales tax
If your organisation holds charitable status and wants exemption from sales tax (you don’t want to reclaim it but you want to eliminate it) you can contact Paddle for the exemption as explained here.
Alternatively, you can contact us and we can issue a direct invoice to your organisation.
