BOWTI 32: Giving your emissive materials and extra BOOST in Unreal Engine

How to make your emissive materials look extra strong using some nodes in the material editor

  1. Open your master emissive material.
  2. Add a constant and a multiply node to your emissive material.
  3. Add the constant to one part of the multiply node and add the colour (constant 3 vector) to the other pin, the add the result to the emissive colour pin of your material. 
  4. Use the constant as a slider to control the amount of emission.
